KRISHNAA UPADHYE (PRESIDENT AND FOUNDER)
Krishnaa Upadhye built Krescent in year 2020 as a medical research (Pre-clinical and Clinical) solutions company supporting the unique needs of pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biotech and medical device companies. Krishnaa is responsible for driving the Krescent’s growth as well devoted as an executive leader who is accountable for all aspects of strategic planning, corporate alliances, marketing, general management, staffing/functional services, operations, financial management and regulatory compliance, In addition he’s focused on providing clients with a better medical research experience. Today, Krescent’s offers end-to-end contract research organization (CRO) services, patient recruitment and retention, functional service provider (FSP) offerings, and strategic staffing solutions.
Upadhye is the President and founder of The Krescent as an accomplished drug development professional who is responsible for the overall Business/proposal Development and commercial strategy for Krescent with over 10 years of clinical research experience, His oversight of global functional areas focuses on innovative methods for reducing the time and cost within pre-clinical and clinical trials.
His professional background includes the development of business partnerships in small, midsize, and large organizations, as well as integrating and leading teams to drive performance and efficiency. Prior to founding Krescent, Mr. Upadhye worked with various Global and Indian Pharmaceutical/Biotech companies and International CRO. He has hands on experience in managing and monitoring various indications on therapeutic areas like Respiratory, Hepatology, Cardiology, Oncology, Gastroenterology and Rheumatology.
He has a background in Pharmacy and completed his Post Graduation from NMIMS University (Mumbai Campus) one of the top-10 B-schools in India, additionally he holds PhD in Pharmacology; besides and He has obtained Project Management Certification from International Business Management Institute, Berlin (Germany)
